Questions

What is TestSwap?

TestSwap is a free app testing exchange where indie developers test each other's apps. You test someone else's app to earn a credit, and spend credits to have your own app tested. It's a reciprocal 1-for-1 swap: no money, no paid testers.

How do I get my app tested for free?

Sign in with X and post your app with one concrete test task, like "sign up and create your first project". New accounts start with 3 credits, so your first three reviews are covered. Every app you test earns you another credit.

How do credits work?

Everyone starts with 3 credits. Writing a review earns you 1, and each review your app receives costs you 1. At 0 credits your apps stop accepting reviews until you test someone else's app.

What stops low-effort reviews?

The maker rates every review 👍 or 👎, and the rating is final. A 👎 takes back the credit the reviewer earned, so a lazy review earns nothing. Each review also needs a real first impression and a concrete suggestion.

What kinds of apps can I post?

Web, iOS and Android apps. Link to wherever testers can open or install it, like your site, a TestFlight link or a Google Play testing link. You can add a test login, which only signed-in testers can see.

Why do I sign in with X?

So every review has a real, public identity attached. It also means no password to forget and no extra account to manage.
