Terms of Service

TestSwap (testswap.dev) is a place where indie developers test each other's apps. It is run by Dizid Web Development ("we", "us"). By signing in or otherwise using TestSwap you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Accounts

• You sign in with your X account. You must be at least 16 years old.
• One account per person. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

2. How credits work

• New accounts start with 3 credits.
• Writing a review earns the reviewer 1 credit and costs the app's maker 1 credit.
• Your apps only accept new reviews while your balance is above zero.
• Makers rate each review once, and ratings are final. A 👎 takes back the credit the reviewer earned, so balances can go negative.
• Credits have no monetary value. They can't be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for anything outside TestSwap.
• We may correct balances affected by bugs or abuse, and we may change these credit rules over time.

3. Listing your app

• Only list apps you own or are authorised to have tested.
• No malware, phishing, scams, illegal or sexually explicit content, and no apps built to harvest testers' personal data.
• Test credentials are visible to every signed-in user. Only share dedicated test accounts. Never share real personal, customer or production admin credentials. You are responsible for what testers can reach with the access you give them.

4. Testing other people's apps

• Test the way a normal user would, guided by the maker's task.
• Don't attack, load-test or scrape apps, try to access other people's data, or use test credentials for anything other than testing. If you find a security issue, report it in the private bug notes, not publicly.
• We don't vet listed apps. They are run by their makers, not by us, so use your judgement before entering personal information into them.

5. Reviews and ratings

• Reviews must be honest, based on actually using the app, and written in your own words.
• No filler or copy-pasted text to reach the length minimum. No harassment, hate or personal attacks.
• Makers: rate reviews on effort and honesty, not on whether you liked the feedback.

6. Not allowed

• Multiple accounts, review rings or other collusion to farm credits.
• Automated or bot-written reviews.
• Impersonating others, or interfering with or overloading TestSwap itself.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the apps and reviews you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and share that content on TestSwap and in share links, only to run the service. Public parts of your profile, apps and reviews are visible to anyone. See the Privacy Statement for details.

8. Moderation and termination

We may remove content, pause apps, adjust credits or suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using TestSwap at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in the Privacy Statement.

9. No warranty

TestSwap is a free service provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee how many reviews you will get, their quality, or that the service will always be online. Reviews are other users' opinions, not ours.

10. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or profits, or for harm caused by apps you test or by people who test your app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top when we do, and announce significant changes on the site or on X. If you keep using TestSwap after a change, you accept the new terms.
